I love this couple! I photographed Emily’s sister’s wedding a few years ago, so when she contacted me about photographing her wedding,I was over the moon. They have one of the cutest stories ever (I’ll save that for the wedding post), and are so completely sweet together. We met up in Dublin where so much of their story takes place. Here’s a little look at our time together.

There is really very little point even trying to describe how much I loved this session…so I wont bother trying…I think you’ll get it when you see the photos. Basically – a model couple, perfect light, autumn…you get the idea. It was a pretty great shoot :)

Katie & Jordan are both in the Air Force and we actually did their engagement pictures 2 days before their wedding! I’m so thankful for their service to our country and for choosing me as their photographer! Such an honor. Take a look through a few of my favorites!!

Happy Wednesday! I wanted to hop on and share a sweet engagement session I had in line to blog. I loved photographing them so much and I am really looking forward to their wedding this year. What a great job to just watch all this great love all around me :) Feeling very blessed today!

Yep, it’s true. I don’t just photograph seniors ;) I know I have shared a lot of my senior sessions lately…er, let me rephrase that. I know the very few times I have blogged, I have only shared seniors…

However, I wanted to share the sweet engagement session of Tayler & Andrew. We just had the honor of photographing their wedding 2 weeks ago, and it was the most amazing day, with the sweetest people & gorgeous details. They are such a great couple…and as it turns out, they don’t seem to take a bad picture ;) Here are just a few of my favorites from our session!

I have also noticed that I haven’t blogged a wedding in almost 2 years…well, I’ve blogged a few…but I haven’t shown one that I’ve photographed in over 2 years…so that’s about to change. I haven’t decided how I will go about it yet, whether I will start from the beginning or work my way backwards…but I am going to start sharing. Soon :) Be on the look out!

I made a promise to myself that I would work harder on blogging & keeping you all up to date on what we are photographing…so, here I am! I am reaching back into April for this one, but I just had to share one of my favorite couples!  Aaron & Annette are getting married this October and we met up in April to photograph their engagement photos.

I LOVE photographing my friends. You see, Aaron was one of my very best friends in high school and photographing him with Annette was so amazing.  Being able to see one of your best friends with the love of their life…well, it doesn’t get much better than that! These two are so perfect for each other and I can not wait to see them get married!!  Here are just a few of my favorites from this sweet, springtime session…

Last October I met up with Samantha & Josh for their engagement photos. She picked one of the best days of the year…just perfect weather, and the leaves…well, you could say they were in their “prime”! The following are just a few of my favorites!

So excited to photograph your wedding in October!!

Last August, when it was still warm & green out, we met up with Eric & Elena for their engagement pictures. We ended up choosing my favorite location, and the light & weather that evening couldn’t have been more perfect. Oh, and did I mention they are gorgeous. Yeah, that too ;) Here’s a look at a few of my favorites from their session!

I’m overwhelmed. It’s a good overwhelmed, but it’s still ‘overwhelmed’. I am honored that so many of you want me to photograph your lives. Thank you, you have no idea what it means. Although I may seem tired, my eyes are really glazed over from joy. So thank you. Along with the abundance of photo shoots we have going on…I also am doing a great job at falling behind in my blogging.  There is a good thing about that though, I surely wont be running out of blog material time soon! So…

Waay back in June (yes June, I told you!), Justin & I met up with Anna & Lloyd at the Franklin Park Conservatory for their engagement photos. We had a great time, and here’s a few of my favorites!

You’ve heard me say it before, and I am going to say it again.  One of my favorite parts of my job (could be the favorite) is that so often my clients become my friends.  It’s as if God put me in this career so that I would meet particular people…because otherwise, how would our paths cross.  Sam & Beth are no exception.  Last year we all sat down to dinner to meet.  Beth was already set on me photographing her wedding, so the actual meeting was more of a dinner.  Before our drinks had even come, we clicked.  I can’t really explain it, but I knew we were meant to be friends.  Beth & I chatted about all things vintage (which is what their wedding will be like!) and Sam & Justin talked about farming.  Justin & Beth talked about musicals and books and Sam and I talked about TV ;)  Everything just clicked.

I couldn’t wait for the engagement shoot just so we would have the chance to hang out again.  We had such a wonderful time at her parents farm (which I am planning on moving in…seriously, it’s so great).  I couldn’t narrow it down a lot, but I tried, so here are a bunch of my favorites.

*we are going to the Trading Post in Bainbridge (one of my favorite places), and then to Adena’s musical production of Seussical! *if you are looking for something to do this weekend…Seussical the Musical!  I’ll be there every night!  And then I get my husband back ;)

Christa & Cory love snow.  Christa says that they are both winter babies (both born in February) and she really wanted to have snowy engagement pictures.  We knew we had to have the shoot done to get their save the dates designed, so we scheduled it for just a couple days after Christmas, and crossed our fingers.  Considering we hadn’t had much at the time, I wasn’t going to get my hopes up.  So, you could say I was a little excited when I woke up that day to some pretty great fluffy snow. Just enough for great photos, but not too much to make the roads bad for our trip up to Columbus.  We even had some start to fall at the end of the session, it was perfect.

They are one of the sweetest couples and I am so excited to be apart of their exciting year!  Thanks for a great shoot guys…and for letting me photograph Eva…she’s adorable!

Could this look any more cozy?! I’m thinking no.
