Strickland Family | Ohio Family Photography

Hmm…brrr. It’s basically awful (but beautiful) weather lately, so I thought I’d share a nice fall family shoot. You know, to rub in the non-warmth we have. This is one of my favorite families around & it’s been a while since we did a shoot, so I was so excited when they set it up.  I’ve got a handful of my favorites to share :) Enjoy! chillicothe family photographer chillicothe family photographer  chillicothe family photographerchillicothe family photographerchillicothe ohio photographer  chillicothe family photographerchillicothe family photographer chillicothe family photographerStay warm out there folks…well, if it’s cold where you are…you know what I mean.

I think the cold is messing with my mind. ;)

Baby Eamon & Family | Columbus Ohio Newborn Photography

I’ve got just 6 short weeks (or less) to go before our little man joins us this summer…time is FLYING by this second time around! With the combination of mental to-do lists (mental because we haven’t started a single thing) & a check up this morning, plus the little guy is kicking me like crazy…I’ve got baby on the brain (not that I don’t 24/7 these days)…so I thought I should pop on and share one of my favorite newborn shoots I’ve ever done. No one will be shocked that this session happened all the way back in September and I am just now showing it off…but, that’s life :)

I take a slightly different approach to the “normal” newborn photography. For me, it’s more about capturing this big (amazing) change in your life & documenting that new love of your family and less about poses on blankets & in baskets and such. I mean, of course we have a little of that…but I want to show the relationships. Is one way better than the other? Absolutely not! It’s just how I go about it and how I would want photos of my new little growing family. I’ve also been embracing “at home” photos so much more lately. If you’ve had a shoot with me before, you know it takes a bit of convincing to make these happen…however, for 6 months and under…I’m loving the dynamics that we’ve been getting.

Well, that’s enough rambling for now, here’s a handful of my favorite from my session with Baby Eamon :)

Meyer Family | at home on the farm

I am going a bit out of order with this session, but it was easy to get to…and frankly, I couldn’t wait much longer to share cute little Henry!

I had so much fun photographing this family. It was a quicker shoot than I normally have, but hey, we had to get Henry’s dad back in those fields during daylight! I think I won him over with photoshoots by making that happen ;) Quick, easy…and still great photos, what’s better than that?! They were so cute together and about as photogenic as they come…here’s just a few of my favorites…farm family photos

Also, I posted on the Cassidy Dawn Photography facebook page, but I wanted to mention it on here! All evening shoots for October are booked! I still have morning shoots, and a few evenings in September, but fall is almost full…so let me know if you were hoping for a shoot!

**I still have several November shoots available, however, if you’d like your photos in time for Christmas…October is the cut off this year! So we can still do a fall shoot…however, print orders will not be ready in time for Christmas.
