Jacqueline :: Fort Fry High School :: 2016 Senior

You guys, this girl. She’s something special. I first met Jacqueline when she was 5 years old…yep, so you can bet photographing her senior pictures made me feel a little like time flew by.  She happens to be my husband’s cousin, so I was fortunate to marry into the family and can now call her mine as well. She’s as smart as she is pretty and she’s as sweet as she is funny! I love her to pieces and it meant so much to me that she asked me to photograph her senior pictures!

We loaded up the family one fall afternoon and headed down to Beverly, Ohio…Justin and the kids hung out with Aunt Karen and crew while I went out with Jackie for photos…and then after a location change, her sisters came along for a special Christmas gift for their family. I LOVE when seniors bring along family or friends or parents and want photos with them…not only does it make it that much more special, but what a perfect time to get some photos with the people you love most.

Oh, and hold on to your hat, because…those sisters…they are all stunning. I wont lie, I felt like I was shooting some models in that perfect autumn sunset! Here’s just a handful of our session!

Love you Jackie!!012

The Coates Family…so much more than clients.

chillicothe ohio family photographyIf you’ve met me, you know I *love* my clients. Really, I fall in love with them. So many become so much more than just a client, they become my friends. Often I just feel like I connect with them and it means so much to me to keep up with them and what is going on in their lives. Every now and then I get to come along for the long haul. I have a group of clients friends that bring me along for so many big, important and small, but meaningful moments in their lives…I get goosebumps just thinking about it. I am finally working on a new website (you know, after 5 years), and I was explaining to Justin how I wanted to communicate how grateful I am to each and every person that books with me and allows me to come into their lives for a few hours to document them. To show them how amazingly beautiful they are…how the love they have for their kids shows on their faces when they look at them…how a groom looks at his bride in her dress for the very first time…how their sweet baby smiles so much bigger when they are looking at them. You guys, I want more than anything for you to know how amazing you are. I am so thankful that you allow me to do this day in and day out. Thank you.

This family has become one that I just described. I was the one that was blessed to photograph Jamie & Adam as they promised to spend their lives together. I was the one that was blessed to photograph them as a family of 3 when sweet Jocie turned 1. I was blessed to photograph them again when she was 2…and now, I am the one that was blessed to photograph them as a family of 4. Cyrus, little buddy, you’ve got the best little family and I am so thankful I get to watch you grow with them. To the Coates, I am forever grateful for not only your friendship, but your commitment to preserving these memories and documenting your family…thank you for choosing me.
