Back from Vegas!!

Well, I am back from a wonderful trip in Las Vegas with my favorite photo travel buddy :) We spent the trip meeting new friends & attending great classes…can’t wait to start implementing so many of the tips I learned!

While there, I attended the Triple 7 Kids Shootout, by Shannon Sewell & Millie Holloman. It was a delightful workshop and I just wanted to pop on and share a few of the images.

Today, my twin sister & I will be throwing a baby shower for my oldest sister (photos to come), then in a couple days I’m off on another trip…I’ll stay put soon…just not quite yet ;)

Thanks to Millie & Shannon for the experience…I had the best time!

Heading out…again!

Just wanted to check in and let you know the blog will be a little quite over the next two weeks…but I promise to pop on when I can to share some photos. Tomorrow I leave for a photography conference in Las Vegas! It’s sort-of ‘the‘ conference in this business and I am really looking forward to my first trip there! After I return, I will be home for a few short days, then I am off to Texas to photograph some wonderful clients. In short, if emails take a bit longer than usual…that’s why. Also, any print orders that are placed between now and March 4th will not be processed until March 7…so a small delay there.  That being said, I will still be checking in on email, so don’t hesitate to contact me!

Have a great couple weeks, I’ll be back soon :)

Oh, and because posts are better with photos…here’s a peak of my little neighbor boy’s last shoot!

Eric & Elena – The Wedding! | Adena Mansion Wedding Photography

I recently shared Eric & Elena’s engagement session, and shortly after we photographed that, it was time for their wedding. As usual, it was a perfect day. Once again, some of the best weather we had all year. They were married at the beautiful Adena Mansion & Gardens in Chillicothe, then the reception was held at The Madison.  If you are looking for an outdoor area in Chillicothe for your wedding, give Adena a look. They have many different locations you can choose. I LOVE how Elena & Eric choose to get married under the big trees…it was absolutely beautiful!

They planned out every detail, and it sure did show. From the vibrant colors she infused in the bouquets & hanging lanterns, to the stings of paper doves hanging from the ceremony trees…everything was just stunning. Here’s a small look into their amazing wedding day…enjoy :)

Another great first glance :)

Gorgeous. Just gorgeous.

Not only did they allow lots of time before the wedding for photos, we also had a few minutes to steal downtown before they entered the reception…you know, when the light is really great!

Absolutely loved these guys. They were so great and they added the perfect mix of personality & fun to the cocktail hour.

Melissa & Travis – The Wedding! | Cincinnati Wedding Photography

If I could plan a dream wedding to photograph…this one would qualify.  All outdoor ceremony & reception. Perfect weather. Amazing location. Stunning couple. Bride & Groom that really values photography & plans the day accordingly…it was a dream. An absolute dream.

Melissa & Travis were married last September at the beautiful Ault Park. The ceremony took place in one of the gardens and then the reception was at the pavilion…it was gorgeous! Melissa planned lots of little details & really made the day their own. She made countless DIY details for the day, and everything came together with so much style and personality. From the bouquets, to “isle poms” (I made this up, I am not sure what they are called), to table decorations. Everything was executed so sweetly.  Here are some of my favorites from the day…there are many, many more, but here’s a little look…

Great shoes!!

Melissa…you are b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!!

A Favorite:

The ceremony was so gorgeous. We had the most perfect weather that day!

I always love these…

All outdoor reception…be still my heart!

Great detail for the Bride & Groom’s chairs:

I love this photo soo much…

Let’s just say, this dance was definitely one of the highlights of the reception.

Melissa & Travis, thank you so much for choosing me to be your photographer! The day was so beautiful and I was honored to document it.
