have patience…

I am going to apologize right now in my upcoming absence of posting. I feel that the next week is going to be crazy busy finishing up those last big college projects and I am afraid I will slip on the blogging. So please check back regularly, and I will try to post when I can, but I have a feeling it will not be often. Promise to be back by the end of next week!!! You all are awesome!

I’ll leave you with one of my personal favorites of a project I am working on (also, I fully understand how random it seems to most, but I like it):

girly post alert…

So, I am back from Florida and well rested, and a different color, very red! I tend to burn very easily and I didn’t fail to do the same this trip. It is wearing off, but wow, I was red! Anyway, so on Thursday the family and I met up with my awesome roommate from college, Allison! Went went to “The Pier” in St. Petersburg and have a great time.
Well, now for the girly part, anyone that knows well me knows my obsession with chapsick (I am literally addicted, I have used it so much my lips don’t function the same as most, I use it way, way to much!). Well, dear ole’ Allison gave me a new wonderful find! Actually I guess it isn’t too new, it does say they have been making it since 1892, but it is new to me. The “Smith’s Rosebud Salve” is amazing and feels so silky, you have to pick some up. She found it at the wonderful Anthropologie, one of my favorite stores, but I also found it online at C.O. Bigelow. It is only $6, so even though it will last a super long time, I would pick up a couple just to have.
Well, enjoy and I have Florida pictures downloading, so I will be sure to post those soon!

can you hear the ocean? i can…

Ok, so I know there are at least a few of my dear readers that can hear the ocean whenever they want, but lets face it, most of you can’t, so I know this may be harsh, but wow is it nice down here! I am down in Florida with my two sisters and parents and we are having a great time. We heard from “the boys” today (all 3 of us are engaged) and we were told it was a nice 35 degrees with sleet. Well, I spent at least an hour in a hammock on the beach in 85 degrees! Sorry for gloating about that, just wanted to give you all an update… :) I’m so excited, tomorrow I get to see my wonderful roommate from college (she graduated a semester early) and I haven’t seen here since December and I can’t wait till lunch tomorrow!
Anyway, hope you are are staying warm, I hope to update soon with some pictures!
